Hello.

I wanted to give you all an update as to what Son Of Man is turning into at the moment. For now, you can grab a handful of cool shirts and a hoodie over at this here link »

As well, if you live in the Osaka, Japan area, Greed Clothing has started carrying exclusive Son Of Man designs, as well as a limited amount the new hoodies we just printed.

Aside from that, we’re going to be releasing a few records this year for certain. In no particular order as of yet, we are going to be releasing:

-With Knives record/EP digitally, limited amounts of vinyl records, and CDs (only for sale at shows). Look for this sometime this Spring.

-Shiner - The Egg, limited press on 12” vinyl, one pressing only for sale at the reunion gigs happening in August, the others for online purchase. This record is technically out of press and was never made on vinyl. We acquired the rights from DeSoto Records to do this, so it’s the real thing.

We’ve also been talking about pressing more Shiner records on vinyl if people dig on what we’re putting down. There are a few other bands that we’re talking to about releasing some 7”s, records, splits etc., and that info is to come. 

Months ago we (ie Josh and myself) asked you to submit your demos, art, whatever to sonofmannyc@gmail.com. We received a lot of awesome submissions, are still going through stuff, and some of it is so wacky, yet cool, that we’re trying to figure out what we can do with it. In any case, please keep sending us stuff. We love listening to your music and looking at your work. It’s inspiring and perhaps we can work together in some capacity.

Lastly, Josh has been doing a lot of really cool designs for bands. He’s pretty incredible at it, and he’s not a “bank breaker”. You can contact him via his Tumblr and he will absolutely get back to you. Here’s a few he did for The Damned Things and Russian Circles (he also did all the SOM designs we have up on the US store):
